Confidence and self-esteem are positive feelings arising from an appreciation of one’s own abilities, talents and potential, which gives self-assurance that one can achieve future goals and ambitions. We need confidence and self-esteem in all areas of our life if we are to successfully deal with any and every situation. Lack of confidence and self-esteem can be rooted in and is often due to negative experiences in the past, including as a child or teenager. If these negative experiences are not dealt with, they can set a precedent for future achievement. It can be beneficial to identify the initial sensitising event of the confidence problem and use an appropriate therapy to change negative thought processes. Utilising the full potential of the sub-conscious mind, we use hypnotherapy and other therapies for confidence and self-esteem to improve and create a more positive self-image.

You will be taught how to use self-hypnosis and visualisation in order to direct your performance in the future. Coaching skills will also be used to teach you how project a confident image. Acting in a confident manner teaches the sub-conscious a new behaviour that integrates into your normal way of life. People see the new, confident you, believe it, and treat you as a confident person, reinforcing this behaviour in you.

In addition to individual therapy you will receive a CD and written information designed to help you to develop and reinforce the techniques that you will be taught during sessions.
